Hi,

Has anyone got a Twingo renaultsport or driven one?

I'm interested in getting one as a run around

Any good? Any thought?

Isn't the chassis basically a Clio Sport? If so, good.

Not driven one but one lives locally and they do look very cool. Would like to get one for the missus and then steal it.

Depends on what you compare against. For the type of car it is it handles very well with cup chassis, goes well with a revvy engine that's the sand power as the current fastest Ford Fiesta. Great giggle to throw around.

Fantastic cars, great chassis. I had the pleasure of taking part in the attached a few years ago:-

Under-powered but, but an excellent chassis and superb brakes for the size and cost of the unit.

A big thumbs up from me - nearly bought one but, the demo car was used by the MD's wife and the company I worked for refused to knock money off for 3 badly scuffed alloys.

Boot is non-existent though and the rear seats only cater for 2 humans. Might be better off getting a slightly older Clio Sport?

I doubt the OP is likely to want to fit more than two humans in the back if he is looking at a small car for a runaround... the two rear seats also slide forwards and backwards independently of eachother, and fold and tip, making for a very useful sized compartment for a small car. The alloys are diamond cut and expensive to refurb!
