What is the consensus for a good track suspension setup for the clio 172?

I had a look on cliosport but there was a lot of conjecture and little experience.

I’m trying to keep the total below £1K. The car will generally be track focused (although driven on the road to events) so I am looking for some strong spring rates to combat roll.

Thoughts?

I've heard KW V3 are very good for fast road and track use although I think they are closer to £1.5k than your price of £1000.

Bilstein B14 are good. Perfect balance between road and track IMO.

There are also AST available through Cooksport for £995 although these are very very harsh on the road.

Thanks, is there much difference between AST 1 and 2's?

How much roll do you get on B14's on the track? The car is going to be mainly a track car.

Thanks

The shaft is thicker in the Sportline II. 22mm vs 45mm IIRC.

B14's are pretty spot on tbh.

Here's my Clio on B14 at Knockhill.

And a mate who runs B14's on his 172 Cup.
