A mate of mine's Dad, David Roscoe, left, was PR Manager at Rolls Royce for many years.

He was responsible for getting many celebrities into RR motor cars, but going through his pictures my mate recently found this and as engine people, we would like to try and identify the engine.

That was our first thought but it turns out, probably not...potentially some sort of V12 experimental engine...

Can't help with the engine, possible a H engine with two cranks?
Not sure if the RREC could help, as they are more focused on the cars.

Next weekend we're off the LCES(VSCC) Welsh, where we used to see David in a few cars - laterly a Semi Sport Minor.
Found out he, briefly, owned my Alvis 12/50.

I see the family have the Alvis special back - which I knew when Brian Maile raced it.
Some of the films he did for the VSCC in the 60s and 70s are on the family's youtube channel.
