So just arrived home to find 2 nice incasso letters from the Dutch Police , yess speeding tickets , nothing serious just they are both from 11th September which seems a long time ago

1, is 108 in a 100 zone Euro 14-

2 is 110 in a 100 zone Euro 20-

I know i know i must try harder , but is this normal for tickets to be issued so long after the event

Should be about 6 weeks.

Never got a ticket for speeding. And I try hard!

34 Euros for TWO speeding tickets? Do you guys get points too or just a fine?

I'd take a fine over points any day. Seems a bit civilised.

i know its quite a result when you think about it , ok the lads at work cleared it up for me and that amount of time is normal

What they also explained is that the laws on drink driving apparently now you get a warning the first time
