Top Golf The Sure Thing
Discussion
Took the boys the other day and they had a new club , the sure thing, made it so much easier for the boys and they got a real buzz from hitting the ball so far.
I have googled it but can’t see an easy way to buy one. It seems to be a hybrid,seven wood,increased loft,bigger head type club.
Is there anything out there like it to buy?
Any help appreciated, cheers.

Its not a legal driver, its just something they designed to make it easier for everyone to hit.
In reality is doesn't really bear much common ground with a 'normal' driver, as;
1. Its 20' loft as opposed to 8-10' of normal drivers
2. Its much shorter in length than a normal driver (similar to a hybrid in length, or longer iron)
For these reasons it probably goes a similar distance to a 6 or 7 iron for a decent player, but for someone who doesn't may much is obviously much easier to hit than an iron due to its massive hitting area, and its flat sole.

Suspect the best thing would be to buy an old adjustable driver on the highest loft you can and then put in a shorter shaft on it.Something like a 12' Taylormade Sim Max driver which can be increased to 14', and then just change the shaft or even just cut it down to size and put on a new grip. You could pick up the head for around £50, and a new grip for £15.
