need help removing ebpv

I am going to remove the ebpv, I know I have to plug the vacuum line that goes to the ebpv but what about the throttle jack mechanism how do I remove it or stop it from reving the car up 2000 rpms on cold starts, or will it stop reving the car onces the ebpv is removed. thanks alain

You will want to remove the cover that is in the engine compartment.....it has the fuel pump reset switch and all the relays in it. You can block the vacuum line to the throttle jacker there. If you open your engine hood and look at the bottom of it, there should be a vacuum diagram. That will show you all the lines, and you just need to stop the one to the throttle jacker...which will be on the diagram. You can block the EBPV by the valve, or in that little relay area where you will be blocking the throttle jacker.
