I'm selling my S4/S4s wheels on ebay. I listed them with no reserve. This might not have been such a good idea.

Bidding is only up to $305 with 2 days left. So, if you're looking for a potential bargain...

Sorry, US delivery only!

I've been looking at your auction as well as 'the other' for the 1999 wheels with new sumi rubber. Those ones are okay if you really like black.

I do have a US address that people ship to me (I kinda get a phone call and then pickup) but I live in Canada. Still get killed on currency conversion at the bank. If I bid on these and do win at a lower figure than you expected please don't be upset with me. Our dollar just does not stretch that far. Sure would be nice to have a new set of wheels though.

Mikey, you're screwing up not taking PayPal. Much safer for you than a check, even if you wait 5 days. Lot of people get put off by not having PayPal available, even if you have heard horror stories.

Dr. Hess:

I agree about limited pay methods might limit bidders. Most folks hate running down to the local PO or the bank for a money order. The weird thing is that there is an auction going on for a set of 1999 black powder coated wheels with supposedly brand new sumi tires on them. Current bid at $610 I believe. He wants $150 to ship them to the pacific northwest. Still, free rims if you buy the rubber basically.

Mike's rims are actually look very good but it kinda sounds like the fronts needs replacing. Hard to get two new fron tires for the difference. Obviously no one is biting on the Lotus wheel market right now. I see Ataka has a new set of OZ's for sale starting at almost 3k. Ouch. Those are a little rich for me on my soft Canadian diet.

Point taken, but all it takes is a buyer to complain or use a bogus CC and I lose the money with (essentially) no recourse. Go to www.paypalsucks.com and read the bitching.

The asymmetric wear can cause a tiny pull, depending on pavement type but I would give the fronts at least 5k miles for a total of 15k, depending on driving habits, of course. By that time, you'll nearly need rears too.

Ah well. I won't complain if someone gets a great deal. They were just sitting in the basement doing nothing for me.

Hmmm...maybe I should add some pics showing tread depth.

If that someone was real keen on the wheels, they will find a way to pay. I wouldn't do cheques though or as you northerners spell it "checks" Don't let people persuade you into signing up a PAYPAL account if you don't want to.

I ended up at $661. D'oh. The guy who bought them told me another set had fetched $900 recently so the price isn't where I thought it was. If I had known, I would have sold them locally.
