Hi all,

After huge amounts of humming and hah-ing, I've bitten the bullet and bought an Esprit!
I went to see a few at UK Sports Cars, but they didn't have what I really wanted which was an Azure Blue S4s (after my early dalliances with wanting a V8, I decided that I'd go with the "purer" Esprit). Anyway, I found one a few days later and went to see it, unfortunately just before Le Mans!
Well, to cut a long story short I picked up my new 1995 Lotus Esprit S4s in Azure Blue with cream leather last night!
Initial thoughts are: B*gger me this car's fast! It pulls fantastically in every gear and is just utterly planted on the road.

Hi and welcome. Is that the S4s from Uk Sportscars with the twin tail pipes? If so, I know that car and it's a very good one! I wanted to buy that from the PO myself but timing was bad.

Were Uk Sportscars their usual helpfull selves? I had a black S4s from them last year ! Lots of usefull stuff on this site and on Uk Esprit Forum (Yahoo) lots of people who have lots of info and are always willing to empart it !

That was Ed's car from the UK forum list. He had to sell it in the end despite listers trying to talk him out of it.
I love the exhaust from Blueflame!

Thanks everyone! I'm already loving it to bits and just wishing that I hadn't arsed up my ankle at Le Mans, as clutch control is a little painful at the moment!
Anyway, as to where I got it, it belonged to John Watkins, who had a page on LEW about it. It's a beautiful car.
