Went out in a V8 for the first time!!

A bloke who comes in the shop every now and again poped in yesterday with his '99' V8.
I had my '89' SE with me and we took each other for a spin.
I cant belive how diffrent the two cars are!! The build quality is amazing on his V8! I take it back about Lotus being badly made (on later models anyway).
The way the power came in instantly and felt like a propoer supercar instead of a cossie with the boost turned up. The V8 sounded awsome and everything about the car was better then my SE.
Lotus really have improved over the years.
