..or am I crazy?

I swear my rear clip (and hatch and lip spoiler) is a different color than the doors, window surrounds, and fuel filler doors. You can really tell by looking that the door jams or at the door seams. I don't think my car was ever resprayed so I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this? I need to know before I yell at my body shop.

Luke.

PS, my car is Monaco white so that may make it more pronounced.

from the pics i've seen on LEW of the production line, it looks like the major components are painted separately before assembly, so that would explain it (if not excuse it!).

You think it's bad on white try red.
Also different parts of the car is made from different materials especially the cabin area. A lot of kevlar and such materials around there from what my friend Keen says, it also cured at different rates and that may affect the paint finish. Keen has just about sawed and repaired every inch an Esprit. When his project car is put back together I will miss it. It was the only place I could visit and see a life size 3D exploded diagram that one could touch and feel.
