NO Gaz they are talking , the car above was one of the first with the new shape dash, think im correct in saying it was introduced for the 98my.

Going against everything I've just said how about this on LEW?

Most obvious upgrade would be, exhaust, air filter and chip. Beyond that you are talking head work and blue printing, which to be honest would cost more than dropping in a 2.2 S4 engine. The car would then weight less and have new shape dash and switch gear.

Gaz - the GT3 may only have 240 bhp but its still a quick car. The chip change is easy and takes it up to 280 i believe which is approx what an S4 (2.2) puts out as stock.

Suggest you post up on the yahoo group and see if there's anyone near you with a chipped GT3 who can take you for a spin?
