Guys, I cant find a hayes manual for the Esprit v8, can anyone suggest an alternitive?

Also, a more pressing question - what is the V8 Esprit (96) tire presures?

Thanks

Mark

Haynes actually combined the Esprit into the manual for the Diablo and Ferarri 308, just grab that one.

If you still can't find it, you should pay the $$ for the factory manuals, available at most Lotus part stores (JAE or SJS for instance.)

Mark,

There is no alternative to the Lotus Factory Manuals which are simply a must if owning these cars. While not particularly cheap (although I paid more for the Manuals for my wife's Lincoln), they will save you their original cost many times over during your ownership. Besides, while using Indys and aftermarket sources can save an individual a few bucks, it is also important to see that the factory dealer/parts network is fed at least sufficiently to remain alive, if not, there could be supply problems looming ahead. I'm not suggesting that we keep them eating steak 5 times a week, but a burger once in a while will help us all in the long run. As these few, finite, limited production cars continue to age, the aftermarket won't be in any rush to fill-in the void should Lotus support go Bye-Bye, the numbers simply aren't in our favor.

So far as your tire pressures are concerned, there must be by law a tire pressure sticker located either on the glovebox lid, the passenger side 'B' pillar or the passenger side door panel. Happy Motoring! ...Jim'85TE

Thanks guys - this made the difference as the front left was quite down. On the topic of Haynes manual - I received an email from them to say that they do not have a book for the Esprit, what do you guys reccomend that is of similar spec - i.e. although I am a confident home mechanic, I still liek the step by step guides for help!

Cheers

Mark,
As Jim said, you need The Lotus Factory Manuals. There is nothing else. The Lotus Factory Manuals are officially called "The Service Notes." Call a dealer and order them or try "the usual sources," JAE, RD Enterprises, etc.
