Well, after considering it for quite some time, I went ahead and removed the wing on my 94 S4. I have to say that I like the way it looks. I don't know if I can say I like it "better" this way, but I think it just gave the car a whole different personality. I will probably leave it this way for awhile, but have a couple questions. First of all, one screw was missing and now I know what the rattle is when I open and close the raer boot (the screw rolling back and forth). Now it has 2 more screws to keep it company...2 of the screws fell into the interior of the hatch and I have no idea how to get them out. Any ideas? Also, there are now, of course, several holes and scuffed paint where the wing used to be attached. Right now I have some vinyl adhesive protectant (otherwise known as electrical tape) covering the holes. I don't want to fill them in and paint them, as I will probably want to switch back and forth with the wing, so has anyone come up with some type of plate or something to cover these holes? I am thinking of making some plates that are shaped the same as the grommets that go between the wing and hatch. I have some thin aluminum and may try to get them painted the body color and just bolt them on with the grommets inderneath to make them water proof.

Thanks, John
