Door panels

I am investigating the possibility of mounting some speakers in the doors of my 96 V8, replacing the grey plastic panel next ot the footwell with a veneered MDF mounting plate replacing the grey plastic.

Can anyone suggest the best way of removing the door liner, I can see three bolts but these do not look like enough, and I do not want to do anything wrong.
