s4s replacement brake discs/pads?

I've just been quoted £1400 for new discs and pads for the front and rear of my S4S, I've heard that there are in fact better and cheaper alternatives to the Lotus supplied sets, does any one know of any specific direct replacements and a supplier in the uk?

For pads for the Brembo front and rear calipers there are number of options in increasing cost and braking performance:

EBC (Green and Red)
Porterfield (R4 and R4s)
Pagid (RS14 and RS15)

For disc's, cross drilled are available from PUK.

For approx 2500 Euro's you can get an AP conversion kit from PUK.

Giles - check out SJ Sportscars too - they have stock front discs for only 38 quid a pair. The S4s has same brembos as the early (97-99) v8's.

well I am still waiting to get my car... I will see it for the first time on the 1st... I got my VIN from the title document..
