Hi All. After months and months of looking and coming here and LEW for advice on buying an Esprit I have finally made the plunge. My Mrs bought me a 99 V8GT for my combined birthday & Christmas present.
It's in Deep Purple, at first I thought the colour looked a little boring and navy blue-ish! but then the sun came out and the purple just shone through...beautiful. One thing I may look into is changing the rear spoiler. The previous owner had the older style GT spoiler fitted (96-98 cars etc) and not the twin pillar job fitted as extra to most V8s. I am gonna try and take some snaps and get on the owners page soon.
Thanks goes out to everyone who replied to my questions (also posted as andyf in the past).
In fact here's a big thanks to you all for making this a great little forum.

Sorry but the Mrs only has two brothers. As I said earlier the deep purple looks lovely when the sun's out or a light shines on it. Subtly understated when it's over cast....so that's most of the year in the UK!
Oh yeah and it goes quite well
Awesome.
