well as i went through books and books at a friends
garage, and 3 phone calls later ppl saying there not
made anymore etc etc, i resigned myself to paying £59 not inc vat and delivery from sj sportscars, btw there brilliant and in no way
am i slating them AT ALL, they have been really good to me when i
had my elan, just alot for pads i thought until i made the funiest phone call of my life

phoned PETER SMITH (just down the road from me), so i asked would
he supply me some pads trade please to the garage and the reply was
this:-

"yeah we have 1 set for the GT3, that will be £243.70 NOT INC VAT
supply only"

WHAT THE F~~K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do ppl pay these prices, there
BRAKE PADS

anyway the moral of the story is this, my lovely new brake pads go
on the esprit sat moring and cost,,,,,,,,GET READY

£21 not inc vat, you see 1 hour looking through books in theroy
saved me over £240, there the same pad as on a:-

fiat coupe turbo
peugeot 406 3.0 v6

only difference is the connection to the wear indicator but
if anyone wants to pay a extra £240 for that THERE NUTZ!!!!!

so i can have 3 sets for the price of one from sj and over 12 sets
for the price of a lotus (rip off) dealer, and that the second time smith has given me a STOOOOPID price, other time it was a the head lamp pop up control module

sj price £75
smith price £300

thought i would tell ppl my find as why pay more for same thing
