Does anyone have any real data on the the S3 (or others) chassis torsional stiffness? From what I have been able to figure, it could use a lot more that it appears to have. If it needs more stiffness, how is it best accomplished? Has anyone done any chassis tuning on one and compared the before and after handling and ease of set-up?

If you do find a source of information will you please share it with us? This is a subject I too have been interested in since owning the car, but I have yet to do any hard research.

Thanks
John

Yeah.. I have a need to understand these things.. The cars come from great racing heritage and so little seems known about their design. Surely with what is known today, improvements could be made. We need a starting point. I will feed any information back here, if I find anything out.
I have a feeling the technical design is closely guarded by Lotus in UK and the only way to get data is to analyse the cars. That is why my interest in the guys who have race prepared them.

Of course my primary interest is in the S3-Turbo Guigiaro but there is a cross over Im sure.

I agree. I think the only sure source is the teams currently running or who have run them in the past.
