Reading the post over pretty woman and first year accident with esprit, I realise that one of the reason I love driving the car is not speeding but sliding. Just a bit, taking a curve on the dry (not when full raining...OK) or on the wet... and feeling the rear going out with throttle pressure. When local conditions allow it (security, blabla,...)
To date I never damage the car doing so. I recognize that on the rain I was once suprised and almost tailfish but leaving partially the throttle was enough to after an slide the other way, finally put the car where I wanted.
I think that track is also a very good learning system.
So maybe I should stop trying to find the limit each time, because one day I could be over it and I do not have premium insurrance. But then does it worth driving a sportscar?

Hi Ben, I think we can all relate your experiences, just wanting to have some fun but personally I tend to keep the slides for the track, not just for my own safety but everyone elses too. I still have my favourite second gear roundabout though which guarantees a smile on the dial
