advantages of owning a low car

Just have to share this with everyone, i thought it was the funniest thing in the world... My college just installed a moving barrier to the parking lot to prevent people without ID cards getting in. The Esprit can drive under it, no problem, no scraping. I no longer have to stop to scan my ID card! They do have a camera there though... I wonder how long I can do it before they do something about it it?

hahah Thats great! I always wondered if the Esprit would go under the one I have at work. LOL Keep doing it until someone comes getting you out of class

Once i was trying to park in a theatre car park near me which was blocked by a Lorry delivering band equipment... I managed to drive under the trailer and have the car park all to myself...that was another one of those smug moments....jees it was close though...

Reminds me of a similiar story. I had a 1971 Europa S2 after graduating high school (car had been totaled, I bought it cheap and put new frame and suspension parts in it) and was able to go under my high school's security gate. One nite I had a BMW 2002 chase me when I suddenly turned off the road and ducked under it because it was a shortcut to my home. I am sure he was surprised when I didn't even slow down as I knew I had about 2 inches clearance.
