Does any one know if there's a replacement for the wood finish dash (surrounding the instruments) for a 1995 S4? I've just taken the centre binnacle off to replace the corner speaker (bloody nightmare!!) and I'm thinking - well why I'm at this stage I may as well carry on!
I'd like to have a aluminium or carbon fibre effect - any ideas?

If you do a search then you'll see a few more people have asked the same question. Kylie I think is doing one herself. I might do one on mine but don't have a spare to take a mould. I do the carbon fibre sunroofs on www.lotusespritworld.com If you don't mind being without your old one for about a week , why don't you send it up to me and I'll take a mould from it. I will pay for postage both ways and do the CF dash at a good rate for you.
I'll need to get a price of it first but I wouldn't have thought it would be that expensive.
You could always try to overlay some CF yourself onto your existing wood dash as a backing. You would only need a few layers.
My e-mail address is dave@acsdesign.org

I thought the S4 had a carbon dash anyway. Is this a British spec car?

You can also try exoticwooddash.com they do carbon fiber coverings. Only thing is they have a minumum order value of $200, which I guess is not that bad.
