Important: STOLEN AWI alloy wheels

As some of you who frequent the other forums already know, I had a set of freshly refurbed AWI wheels stolen some time lastnight.

Description:

AWI Monobloc 6 spoke wheels.
2 x fronts (17x8.5J) - New Yokohama AVS Sport (235/40 ZR17)
2 x rear (18x10J) - New Yokohama AVS Sport (285/35 ZR18)

Colour: Gloss black, unblemished.
Details: Silver metal valves and caps.

These wheels were for Pearly to get back on the road. I'd like them back if possible and the tyres are v. expensive as I'm sure you all know.


If you are offered these wheels, or a set matching the description. Then let me know and we can get the fuzz to look into it with the crime number.

On the other hand you might mention it to any local Lotus dealer/wheel supplier/salvage yard you know etc in case they are offered them.

Obviously they are very distinct as hardly any AWI's are done in black. The chavs who stole them may try to separate the tyres from them as the wheel is obviously only Lotus compatible.


I'll be compiling a list and doing the calls to the usual bunch, SJ, SWLC etc tomorrow.

Bummer sorry to hear the bad news, I hope they didn't trash anything while taking the wheels. Little scrotes! or chavs as you call them.
Hope you get your wheels back soon and in one piece.

I doubt I'll get them back, but have to try, and at the very least make it harder for the chavs to get away with it!
