Need help on wastegate.

After on had chip #2 installed on my 90 se whan I press the throttle all the way down and the boost goes to 1 bar the wastegate opens and I lose boost all together, I have press the throttle slowly, I checked the wastgate hose it is secure do I have to up grade the wastegate to s4s specs is there a wastegate difference between se and s4s or do I need a new se wastegate but I am affraid the same thing is going to happen with new wastegate or is there a high proformance wastegate that wont open at .09 bar to 1 bar has anyone had this problem after putting chip #2 or chip #3 in there se this is driving me nuts what should I do hope someone can help. thank you again alain

There is an adjustment for the wastegate. Be very careful or you can easily damage it. I would have thought the chip itself would have automatically adjusted everything to the proper specs? Ask the chip manufacturer if this is so.
