I've read about replacing the headlight relay on a V8 so that all four lights are on with full beams. Has anyone done this? Any problems? Is the wiring to the relay up to the job of suppling power to all four lights continuously.

Any other thoughts on this?

thanks, Will

Have done this on my S4s which uses the same light system I believe.
Not detrimental from what I can see and have used the car a lot in the dark.

It is a real simple exchange of relays and I just got mine from SJ Sportscars, less hassle than trying to find equivelants etc and not really expensive at all.

No wiring needed only a 3 min job under bonnet of car.

Hiya,

I did this to mine ages ago now. LOADS better at night and zero issues or problems. Best 2 mins work I ever did on the Esprit.

I remember buying a match from Lucas, ended up blowing the hooter and flash beam fuse, although i ended up with 4 beams when the lever was pushed forward, much happier now i have the SJ relay :-)
