About 6 months ago my interior fans stopped working. Cannot get window defrost, heater, fans or anything to work. Does anyone know how to get to the interior fans so I can see if I have a electric motor problem. Have checked the fuse its fine.

the car is a 88 Stevens turbo.

regards

Your question seems straightforward enough so I'll give it a go. I think you are talking about the blower motor. There is a single squirrel-cage unit that is hidden behind a plastic moulding on the forward face of the "firewall". The firewall in this case being the bulkhead in front of your feet that also holds the brake and clutch master cylinders, etc. The plastic moulding, which is held on by about 10 screws, also supports the gas filled prop rod that holds up the front compartment lid. The whole blower assy appears to be a GM unit, and a rather small one at that.
I have an '89, so it should be similar to your car.
