No Heat Also

Hello, I have a 95 S4 also. Heat comes from the defrost, but when I turn the heat over to the vents, it only blows cold through them. The fan works fine, the defrost can change temps if I need. But.....why not in the vents?

Only fresh air or a/c comes out from the face-level vents on the Esprit. Heated air only comes out from the defrost and floor vents.

only the two center dash vents can blow warm air. The outside dash vents must closed off or can vent outside air into the cabin.

I don't know about the earlier cars, but the S4S doesn't blow hot air through any of the dash vents, only the floor board and defrost vents. I assume that since the S4S takes it's interior from the S4, that the S4 is the same...but I could be wrong. I think Karl has an S4S, a few cars ahead of mine at the factory, so the same bloke that plumbed his probably plumbed mine as well.

I should correct myself and I have forgotten that mine has been modified. My car can blow warm air from the center vents. I have flow divertors installed on my car that I use when center dash vents are closed from the A/C evaporator by the flaps. The defrosters, 2 center dash vents and footwells all work at the same time or one at a time.
