When does the fun begin???
While looking for the gear box fill plug, I found the left side gear box mounting bracket broken. Anybody have any experience changing one? Don't tell me I have to pull the gearbox, I'm depressed enough already. Looks like it might not be too bad.

Just had the same bracket go on mine last month. This is a known week point on the later shape Esprits.
It is possible to replace in situ.
Undo all bolts on the gear linkage cradle and exhaust brackets.
I also loosened the right hand side monting so that I could lift the rear of the gaerbox up a couple of inches. This helped to get into place.
Takes a little wiggling, swearing and a mild application of brute force, but does all slide in eventually.
