question about indicator light on 93

Hi this is the wife and my husband is on his way home to Arkansas from Jersey. He is about 8hrs away now and he called and said the small set of indicator LED's have started to come on. He said sometimes its the red one, sometimes the green, sometimes both and sometimes they just go off. He said he thinks it might be about the readiness of the turbo. He wanted me to post this to see what you guys might think. He just got the car and was already nervous about driving it that far. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Could that be the outside temperature/icy weather warning system? If it is, no worries? Anyone? Don't have that gizmo on the V8's...
