Water seen around front right speaker

Have a V8 and was driving in some pretty horrible rain this weekend (on my way up to and back from a race school), my passenger noticed a few drops of water beading around the bottom of my speaker. This is the speaker located up and to the right of the airbag on the passenger side. Hopefully I can resolve this without having to replace the speaker. Anyone experience something similar? Totally bummed!

...Not sure if your car is left or right drive... but, there seems to be an anoying very difficult to trace water leak between the wheel arch and the wind screen on the left side of the cars. My car has it as well as 2 other Esprit owners I know of. I do not get water in the speaker, but I can see where it is possible. I replaced the rubber ring on the wiper thinking this could be it... but it has not rained since then. I noticed a drop running down a wire under the dash when looking for the leak.

I suppose the silicone seal at the bottom of the wind screen could also let n some water. If it were in the correct spot, it would trickle down to the speaker?...

Good luck locating the leak, they can be a real trick to locate.

From the perspective of being in the car it is on the right side. I examined it pretty closely but found no evidence of the windshield or a pillars letting in water. Source seemed to be behind the speaker. The space between the wheel arch and the dash seem to be the culprit on mine. I notice the speaker is located probably less than a foot away from the wheel arch. Taking it to a rather thorough mechanic for my "A" service on May 3 so if he turns up anything I will be sure to post it.
