wire hanging, passenger side of console near belt

two black wires with metal pinson them..
any idea what they are for or what they were unplugged from?

Wouldn't be the seatbelt warning lamp switch would it? My car has both sets of wires but only the driver's side connected (well they used to be, there's a link in there now )
