PNM in Merseyside seem to get a good name from people on the forums, but I think all the positive exposure has had a negative effect as it takes a while to get booked and the labour rate is ball-park what my local main dealer is.

I used to live near Lancaster and I always took mine to Chris Neils in Northwich( about 80 miles ). They charge around £45/hour. I've always had good service from them. I never looked into any specialist places when I was in your area so that's the best I can offer. BTW - Well done on your new car, you'll love it. I'm on my 4th Esprit now ( from an NA S3 to a Sport 350 ) and I've loved every one !! Also, have a look at www.norlog.net we have a meeting in Garstang so not very far from where you are.

I always use PNM and their labour rate is always £32/hour. Mark is right though about booking it in as they are always very busy. I won't try to push these for servicing as Pete is trying to scale that saide down. Nut for new parts, reconning and used parts I would stringly recommend them 0151 630 6101.
I would try BSS (try these first) or Banks Service Station (I think these specialise in Europas). They both used to be part of the same company but the two partners have split and formed to seperate companies. They are based near Preston. Andy Short owns BSS.
Hope this helps,

Nik,

Make contact with one of these reputable specialists and get the car inspected there before you buy.
This will introduce you to them and it will mean that you do not have to keep everything crossed.

Trust me,it's worth it.
