Box Frame on V8 question

Okay, maybe someone in the UK can answer this or have a contact inside Lotus that might (Dave Massey comes to mind but I lost his email address).
On the box frame section of the frame, there are two blocked off holes which I believe provide for the chargecooler lines for the 4-cylinder cars. What I'd like to know is if the area required inside the box (from front to rear) is clear, as I would like to run said set of lines.
