Cracking shot.

I bet the driver was a bit cheery red.

Also loved the way the Rage Buggy drivers were charging around well strapped in with no helmets and one was wearing flip-flops until they got stuck in the throttle so he threw them out and carried on in bare feet, great H & S me thinks.

That corner did remain wet for a large part of the day.

Doesn't excuse the driving though, punter or demo driver?

I heard it was a punter, not a great start to the day but at least they hit hay and not the wall!

Went up not long after this happened and although it was wet I don't remember it being that slippery, of course that may be down to my superior driving skills smile

IIRC Stirling Moss had a near miss there a couple of years ago when the back wheels hit the grass.

Yeah I stood up there for a while in the morning watching them as they had no punters. Felt a bit sorry for the girls who were struggling to get people, but at £20 for a 1 min passenger ride that was a bit steep even by Goodwood standards!
