Bought my 2026 tickets this morning.

I've visited on Friday and Saturday for the last 2 years and have managed to get completely soaked each time. After getting drenched again this year, I promised myself to work harder at work and treat myself to grandstand tickets for 2026, however the cost seemed quite steep for 2 days, so I've ended up joining the Fellowship and so I'll be able to visit the Pit Enclosure if I need to get out of the rain for a few moments. For anyone who has been, is the Pit Stop enclosure any good?

Managed to book my preffered B&B back in June earlier this year which was fortunate. Is it too early to start talking about the weather forecast yet hehe

I think the pit stop enclosure is the tent on the in-field nominally opposite Lavant Bank.
Not been in, but I would guess very busy with Associate members if it tips it down.

It wasn’t too bad on the Sunday this year when it poured with rain. You also get access to lockers and a pretty quality of toilet as well!

We used the pitstop enclosure this year, just so you're aware, members and fellows are allowed but they weren't allowing guests - of members or fellows.

As a member, with a guest, that wasn't my experience. I would query that with the club if you're concerned about it.

That doesn't sound ideal. I quite like the Police display and it is quite 'scene setting' as you walk in to the main entrance.
I hadn't realised it was what appears to be a volunteer group - I thought it was part of paid 'actors' that Goodwood booked.

Great atmosphere a few years ago when leaving - gone dark, and the 'police' cars working their way through the crowds with the occasional blast of the two-tones.

Arguably, it is a bit the same every year, (also the fictional GlamCabs display), but when the event is set in a particular fixed period, you are never going to get any 'new' history.

Presently, I don't have any tickets for the Revival - I used to go for four days and love every minute of it. I don't think I have grown tired of it, but I have definitely become tired of the relentless corporate hospitality take-over.

GW is a business and has to make a profit, but they are changing the character of the event for the worse. The 'character of the event' is actually the product, so may affect the long term outlook.

Sounds like someone is having a flounce and it isn't Goodwood.

Bit light on details in the link.
