GRRC Sundowners - Aug 20th

Has anyone been to one of these this year? It'll be my first circuit sundowners and I'll be taking my new 2026 Aston Martin Vantage S.

Would be good to hear more about the event and the logistics of getting your car onto the grid.

I've done 3 now so August 20 will be the 4th.

All have been excellent. interesting cars and good company. Food is ok and service pretty quick too.

Getting onto the grid is easy via the main gate and they have parking marshalls to get everyone lined up.

See you there. I'm hoping we'll go in my wife's 1930 Lagonda if the weather's ok and it starts.

Nice one. That sounds great. Sounds like there will be a real mix of cars there as my father in law is bringing his VW camper too.

Thanks for the heads up on getting onto the circuit. The newly applies PPF will get its first outing on the Aston.

excellent I look forward to seeing the VW as we love anything air cooled.

my daughter will be there and probably would have taken our 356 but as that is almost sold I think she will steal our 993.
