It would be logical to name the bend after Stirling. I'm all for it.

The corner with no name has always been exactly that, be better off to name the chicane after Moss perhaps.

The 'Chicane' I've always known as the 'Scalextric'-Chicane, something to do with minimodels (now Scalextric) which were born in New Lane Just down the road In Havant? (But I've been wrong before)
How about the 'Sir Stirling Moss Padock'

Bruce McLaren paid a higher price at Goodwood, perhaps more fitting to name a curve after him?

I wrote to Charles March after McRae's death and suggested this.

I will look out his reply but it poo poo'd the idea of naming the bend...

The corner with no name has a name, the "corner with no name". It has always been this way and is unlikely the change.

I'd hope that when Stirling eventually passes away something at Goodwood is named in his memory but it will not be the "corner with no name".

What's wrong with the existing Stirling's Bend at Brands Hatch?

How many more do you want?

Quite right, one corner at one race track for a man thats done more for the image of british motorsport than any other

He should consider himself lucky!

Seeing that he was advertising Viagra or something similar, wouldn't it be more appropriate to name a straight after him rather than a bend;)

What naming after McRae? Did he race at Goodwood?
