Hi, we are a group of primarily Mercedes AMG owners, albeit a few non MBs involved. we have a trackday booked at Goodwood on the 29th April, its a 25 car day, 5 cars a session, 105DB, we have a couple of spaces left and am wondering to wheather anyone here would be intrested in joining us. its £310 for the day, I am sure you guys know, as far as Goodwood goes thats very good value.
If of any intrest to anyone, please contact me for further details. Also could you please advise what car you would be useing.

Regards Rick

You may find this better placed in the track day forum. I'm sure you'll get takers. I LOVE Goodwood in the Radical, but I'm not sure of the diary at the moment.

Hi I already did and in the Mercedes section as well, only one intrested party I am afraid , we have 17 no. from our own forum, plus a couple of friends and 1 no. from another forum. Little dissappointing response here really, but appreciate its not everyones cup of tea.

Sadly I don't if I will have the money or not, also I don't think my 1.1 will be welcome with a bunch of AMG cars, although I have done goodwood in it and there were a few revival cars testing at the same time which was very cool. smile

Hi Rick, hope you won;t mind me adding to this post?!?

I live not a million miles away from Goodwood and am needing to get some pratice at the 'panning' car shot for my photography portfolio.

I was wondering if I could come along and snap away at this event....I won;t be driving in it and will email any shots through to those that may want them.

Would appreciate your thoughts!

Many thanks

Mr Tipping, you would be very welcome, we actually have one coming on our August date, but a rare car to be seen. We have currently 3 places left on our April date at the moment, as said perviously I have been active in trying to keep this MB as much as I can, but we do have half a dozen other brands with us now. But would be pleased if you,d care to join us.

Sorry to reraise this post, but in the world of dont ask, dont get, I am asking again. A forum based group that I am involved with has a Track day at Goodwood booked on Friday the 29th April, (Royal wedding bank holiday). We have one remaining space left of the 25 needed. It is a 105DB day, 25 cars max, 5 car sessions £310 for the day. Incluscive of bacon roll on arrival and sandwich buffet at half time.
Of the cars already attending, Ferrari 16M, Ferrari 599, CLK DTM, CLK Black series, SLS, 12 other assorted Mercedes AMGs, BMW M3s, Audi RSs, lamboughini Gallardo Superleggarra and a very exciting heavily modified Fiat Albarth making, I believe its track debut, which I am sure will be great entertainment.
Most of the people attending are 40 years and upwards, some first timers, and then varying degrees of trackday experience. All soley looking for a good natured good bantered day out.
22 no. of our group originate from our own forum, 1 no. guy from another MB based forum, and only 1 no. person from this forum, I cannot believe there is no further intrest in this sort of event from this hugh forum, come on guys, it will be a great day out. we also have a photographer, recording our day, along with all our own shots. Should I have raised your intrest, please E mail me.
Regards Rick

Stuff the protestors - they'll all be inside glued to the TV waving their Union flags and weeping into their lace hankies. Release the 16m!!

I've had DTM's on my days and their fine. Trust me.. The Fezza's will have a problem. 2 x scuderias + 1x 458 not allowed on today due to bonkers noise levels.

The owner of the DTM tells me a slightly different story, but he,s going to be staying off the gas, and hopefully we will all have a good day out, which quite frankly is what its all about, as I am sure you,ll agree. Are you coming to join our day, sounds as if you have plenty of GW experience....? We only need one more!

Hi Ricky, completely agree about the fun day out thing.. That's what track days are all about. Thanks for the invite but I work at Goodwood so have plenty of opportunities to drive the circuit. Sorry if my comments came acros as being negative.. Just wanted to give you a heads up... Fingers crossed everyone is able to enjoy their cars on the circuit.

Cheers,
J
