Free spectating at Goodwood tarmac rally 12th Feb!!
Discussion
The annual Southdowns Stages Rally is held at Goodwood this Saturday. We are competing in my BMW M3 Compact along with a wide variety of cars - everything from an Aston Martin Vantage rally car, to a Mini and even a SD1 Rover!
There is no charge for spectating and you are free to come and go during the day. The first stage starts at 9.00am and the last at about 6.30pm - the last two stages are being held in the dark for the first time.
For more info please see www.southdownsstages.co.uk

The rally is based at the Goodwood race circuit used at the revival meeting, but for rallying purposes the route also uses part of the carpark and goes off the side of the circuit in several places - if you look on www.southdownsstages.co.uk and click on 'competitors' and then 'roadbook' you will see how the various stages are set up. The organisers also build a number of chicanes on the circuit to keep speeds sensible and also give us the chance to drive nice and sideways
