Last winter I just used the gatorskin tyres I had on the bike, however I found things a bit slippy and lost traction a couple of times. Any recommendations for a 700C replacement for rain, frost and snow ?

I'm very happy with my GP4Seasons - 25c.

I used Continental Grand Prixs all last winter and didn't get a single puncture.
That included town and country riding and some gravel too.

Bontrager AW3. I've had three punctures in several thousand winter miles and they are far gripper and (seem to) roll better than my old 4 seasons.

These. Originally ordered the 23c version for a 21mm external rim width but they came up very narrow so I sent them back and got the 25c versions.

Thanks for the replies. I have gone for the GP 4 season and hopefully they will be better than the Gators. After 4000km they probably need replacing anyway.
