I have a bike for sale on Pinkbike. Nothing fancy or expensive, but still, an immaculate 2014 Specialized Sirrus Elite. Some good pictures and description, willing to take offers on in. The only reply so far was would i be willing to take funds in 12 monthly payments for it!
Replied with yes, first payment @ 89% value, remaining 11 months @ 1% value. Not had a reply back yet smile

Very generous as you're not charging them interest smile

I thought so smile and if they defaulted after the first payment, it'll be no great loss.

Or divide the cost into 12 equal segments.

And they get the bike at the end?

This is why I hate selling things! Try selling a guitar, it's crazy! Everyone wants to swap, no one has cash, or anything decent to swap!

Tbh, Pinkbike is the wrong place to sell a road bike, so I wouldn't be surprised if you get some odd offers!

Singletrackworld.com (most ride road bikes as well), Facebook classifieds, BikeRadar forums, road.cc forums, eBay with a 99p start and no reserve if you just want it gone.

cyclechat have a classifieds, not massively busy, but you only need one buyer!
Also advertise on gumtree.

If you're in or around London, the LFGSS has a good classifieds section .
I'm sick of selling on BikeRadar - full of penny-pinching, piss-taking offers

From looking at your advert it Looks like a lovely example. If I didn't have all my spare funds tied up in a house purchase, I'd probably make you an offer on it!

TBH, a young lad at work listed it for me as he has sold previous/currently on it. The bike is my old mans bike. He bought it when he had his camper van to take with him while away. He's now sold the camper and as he's into his 70's, has bought an FS MTB for a bit more comfort.

PM if you want. I have the bike stored at work and not going anywhere soon smile
