Leg shaving = roadie thing, found a reason for MTBer's
Discussion
Riding this morning a flint sliced a 5mm hole in my front tyre, the tubeless sealant did its job and sealed it nicely. I thought no more of it until I was in the shower at home, both legs, hairs matted and glued together by all the sealant that sprayed up my shins before the hole sealed. I've had to cut some of it out!

But not even the pros do it!

Those are the world class (and hairy) legs of Peter Sagan. 4 times green points winner at TdF, 7 times GT stage winner, multiple 1 day race winner and 3 time, reigning world champion. No razor in sight. As it should be.
In my line of work, I walk up to 15 miles a day. My shins and inner thighs are hairless due to friction from my trousers...
I thought the hairless-legged roadie thing was about it being easier to clean gravel out of wounds after the inevitable crashes rather than an aero advantage. Don't know how it if that translates to the MTB scene, though.
