Disk road wheels for a Lardy PH director type
Discussion
I have some Hunt 4 Season Gravel and they’re ok, I think the brand are a bit over-hyped by reviews.
There are plenty of options, I’d go for these as you can spec 32 spoke if you want : http://www.justridingalong.com/jra-wheels/jra-map-...

I’ve just put a 29er rear wheel on my gravel bike as I kept breaking spokes and needing rebuilds. It’s a 32 spoke Novatec hub laced to Alexrims 23 - probably not the lightest, but beefy enough for a run over the rocky stuff with a thru axle and 160mm disc. I use a 35mm tyre so I’m not aiming for tarmac KOMs though my times on regular Strava segments don’t seem any different.
Will get similar built for the front when the time comes.

I would have recommended the Hunts until Friday, but whilst carting a heavily laden (probably 15kg) Grade plus a heavily laden (probably 95kg) rider up a short steep climb, I popped a spoke on the rear wheel. Turns out I'm simply too powerful(ly built).
32 spokes is definitely the way to go for durability.

I was in a similar position with wheels and went through a few off the shelf without much joy.
In the end I got Wills Wheels in Manchester to hand build me some - they were bullet proof and nice and efficient. I was also surprised how cheap they were. I'd be going and having a chat with them (I see you are in Cheshire).
