That last photo I assume is the driver, I hope they gave her an eyesight test!

I'm surprised the cyclist isn't in orbit! No way that car was doing 20mph.

I wanted to believe it was just an old dear on her way to the shops walking by and thinking "Dear oh dear why is this car here?" but you're probably right biggrin

Frustrating but looks like they've been corrected - it was either a collision bewtween a car and a bike, or a collision betwen a DRIVER and a cyclist!

It was disappointing, although not surprising, to see the original terminology used.
I saw one report the other day which referred to a six year old pedestrian who had 'collided with a car'.

From what I've gathered, it was a most likely a case of accelerator instead of brake, and hit the bike from behind.

For the car to go through the barriers where it happened, it would be going a fair bit faster than 20mph..
