The best cycling gear for a lady.

Lady Balfour wants some spring cycling clothes instead of an Easter egg this year (wouldn't she though).

I bought her some Castelli stuff at Christmas and it seems very good. However, I would not want her to find out later that the Easter bunny had done a poor job.

Is Castelli still the way to go? A casual observation is that the serious cyclists I see seem to wear a lot of their gear.

If Endura do a women’s range then I’d recommend them. Really good quality but not daft prices.

Mrs CM7 very much likes Stolengoat and Bioracer.

Stolengoat have their spring summer range being launch within the next week or so.

Bioracer are a less well known brand, but manufacture for a lot of national teams and make very good kit at reasonable prices.

FWIW Velovixen stock Castelli, Stolen Goat and Endura, plus plenty of other brands. They have recently launched their in house design jerseys and shorts. Pretty sure everything on their site is in stock, every size, every design.

Primal have good designs but sadly I've always found their tops to be a bit "busty".. and far too big and baggy for me up top! So it depends on her shape. Love the Stolen Goat designs but never tried it. Ale looks good too and I've seen a few women wearing it, but it's pricey.

Assuming you're talking about road riding, for road I've got Gore which tends to fit (again not cheap and not particularly fun designs) - I'm tall for a girl and a lot of the girls stuff is too short in the body, but Gore seems to work.
