Cassette and KICKR Core

Looking to change my wheel on smart trainer to the KICKR Core and KICKR Climb.

My bike is a Specialized Allez which has Sun Race 8 speed 11-32 cassette and Shimano Claris 8 Speed derailleur.

The KICKR Core specs says it is only compatible with Shimano or SRAM.

Can I just by a Shimano 8 Speed 11-32 cassette and it will work?

Yes or the Sunrace will be fine as it is standard Shimano spacing.
