Hi fellow bikers!

Please help me choose my next bike......

I'm looking to spend up to £1k and so far have shortlisted the following. What would be your choice? Or, do you recommend something else?

For me it would be the Trek (i've just bought a Marlin too)

I'm absolutely no bike expert by ANY means but spec of components, price, style and brand too sold it for me over others at the price point. Although I was tempted by the Specialised, but felt the Trek was a better-looking bike.

Have a look at Sonder Bikes, from Alpkit. If there's a branch near you you might be able to get a test ride on one, which will give you the best idea if you like it.

I bought a Sonder Dial about a year ago, love it.

Sonder good shout

Id find a local LBS and see if they can do you a deal/ what they have , so much easier if there are issues as well.

@masterbean - great seeing you Monday. Voodoo looks a bit cheap and nasty compaired to the rest, plus they will probs fit the forks on the wrong way round.

Brutal. I ride a Voodoo Hoodoo. It's amazeballs.

1. Describe the riding you do and where.
2. How much can you self-service and how much do you need shop support?
3. What are your local bike shops aside from Halfords?
