All, what’s a decent floor-mounted bike stand for a full-fat eMTB? Looking for a robust one where you put a wheel in a holder (for storage or cleaning). I want something over-engineered rather than “it just about holds the bike up”.

I think Rock Bros do a decent looking plastic one for about £25.

Thanks.

If you want a decent one you'll have to spend a lot more than £25.

I think I bought my Park Tools stand for around £130 and I'm not sure if it'll support the weight of an E Bike.

For servicing I’ve got a Park Tool workshop stand like the one in the previous post. For general storage and quick washes etc I have something similar to this…

Perfectly adequate to hold an e-bike and very stable. Just check the max tyre width as they are all different. For best stability pick one that has a max tyre width closest to your tyres.

That Rockbros one has a weight limit of 13Kg. The one I linked to or similar will be fine if it fits your tyre width. I used one with my Levo and it’s still going strong after 6-7 years.

I also use the Oxford stand linked earlier, albeit for normal MTB.

Build one. Can be as simple as a bit ply at 45degs against the wall with a slot cut in it to accept the tyre.

I've already got two home made ones out of push-fit pipe screwed to the floor. I can't be arsed with it and just want a cheap, simple stand I can easily move around.

I find bikes are an absolute pain in the arse at all times apart from when you're riding them.

I'd agree with that. As objects, they're not exactly easy to store. I spend way too much time rearranging the garage but nothing "works" as they're either accessible and thus in the way or stored away like some sort of Mensa mind puzzle and then a pain to get out again.

OP, check out my profile for a link to some bike storage solutions. Original products, rather than reverse engineered from others’.

not what you want, but for the others dealing with storage issues.

I have a rail running the entire length of the shed against one wall then sliding hooks i can sling the front / back wheels onto. Means moving them around is very easy, and they dot get in the way. I have 8 bikes up there now and its about 5m long.
