Road Bike Rental

Does anyone know anywhere in or around London which rents road bikes on a weekly/monthly basis?

Not been able to find anywhere myself so far.

With the crime rate and chances of theft; who would insure them?

wont be worth it i suspect, given youll be paying £100's a week.

might aswel buy something second hand then flip it back.

Says up to a week so not quite what you're looking for - but it's still £385 a week plus another £70 a year to join.

At nearly £400 a week - buy something second hand and re-sell, if you don't lose £800 then you're up on the deal for a two week rental.

There'll be no market for it beyond a few days.

Buy something second hand and as long as you buy sensibly you'll be able to sell without it costing too much.

Thanks guys and figured as much - was looking at something in the Decathlon sale otherwise. Just that here in the UAE it’s very common to be able to rent something decent at a reasonable rate for a few weeks or months. Totally different market though!

i reckon contacting Marcus Bikes, and asking would be a shout. Even if its buying with a guaranteed rebuy value...
