Some good rides this weekend, anyone else battling the headwind on their ride?

Yup, was bloody windy this morning. A headwind the whole way round...how does that always happen!?

Big headwind on my long climb today, had it on the granny ring for the first time in an age.

Sportive for me this weekend. 30 miles into a headwind. Yet to upload but it was a slow effort.

Not too bad in the woods, open climbs made me yearn for working gears though.

Surely a headwind in all directions of a ride just mean that you're going fast thumbup

Could I join up to more than one club? I'd like to get involved in the PH one but am part of another, new one on strava.

And if anyone is local to Southend, please check out the Rochford and District Mumbai Bicycle Club. Only signed it up today but should get a good bunch of lads on there.

Cheers

Me too.

New Garmin means I can post stuff up, but no chance to get out before at least Thursday.

Help out a technophobic old fart please.
I've got the Strava app on my phone, but how do I join the PH Strava gang.?
I'm a bit "short for my weight" and knocking on a bit, but I'm willing to endure the humiliation of the PH masses seeing my attempts at getting fitter & faster!!
I don't have a blog & I'm not sure if I've got a widget or not........

I think my Garmin might have switched itself on in my bag when I drove from Santa Barbara to Santa Monica a couple of weeks ago. Tempted to upload it to see how many KOM / Sprint wins I get...

Hi folks,

Been lurking on here for years, use Strava a lot so joined the Pistonheads club and thought it would be a good time to start contributing.
