Planet Ocean. It's an Omega watch with an ETA movement.

Modified ETA as far as I am aware. The newer 8500 is still made by ETA I think.

Modified eta movement is correct I think. To think I bought that when they were around £2k new, silly money now.

Interesting, thanks. I'd always assumed in-house but a but of reading confirms modified ETA as you say, which is owned by Swatch too, hence how they get away with calling it in-house, I suppose.

Anyway, OT. That Bianchi is rotten! Stick to the bikes...

Surely if you know it's a placebo, it's not a placebo?

I have that watch. It has the loudest ticking sound I've ever heard on a watch.

I quite like those Bianchi watches, I'm afraid.

Although I still prefer my Festinas. Especially the Tour 100th limited edition in the presentation box and spare bracelet/strap.

Play nice, Dizzeee has probably ordered one for each wrist wink

Proper tat, but I suppose all big brands are guilty of it, you just have to look at Ferrari et al.
